INNOVATION > R&D.

R&D in power transmissions.

At FELLAR we're very aware of the importance of research and development as drivers of innovation and competitiveness.

Right from the outset, our commitment to quality has led us to seek continuous improvement for all our industrial processes through the incorporation of all the latest developments in technology and the most appropriate production techniques.

FELLAR has always maintained its research and development budget at similar levels with a clear aim in mind; to maintain and improve the levels of service and quality we offer.

Over the years since FELLAR was first established, we have taken part in and promoted technology transfer projects around the world and these have brought us valuable know-how.

As a result of these efforts, we have developed a variety of high-tech products for our customers:

• Design and manufacture of the first standard geared motor using several geared stages with all shafts supported on bearings (no cantilevered gears). Patented system.

• First manufacturer in Spain and one of the first in the world to design and manufacture planetary, helical and double-helical (herringbone) gears.

• Retrofit del accionamiento de las locomotoras MITSUBISHI tipo 269, con un rediseño de FELLAR. Para conseguir que el piñón motriz de las transmisiones deje de estar en voladizo, "sistema patentado".

• Pioneers in the design of geared speed increasers with helical planetary stages specifically for the wind power industry.
